OCTOBER

Tuesday 27 th and Wednesday 28 th - Family Tree Planting

Do something fun and healthy this half term by planting a tree with us.

Every Monday & Thursday - Hanbury Locks

Creating lock quadrants and bollards on the first 3 locks of the Junction Canal.

 

NOVEMBER

Monday 2 nd – Site Safety Awareness Training

A Lantra certificate will be issued for this course in safety awareness.

Please book by October 16 th .

Wednesday 5 th; Thursday 6 th; Friday 7 th - Hedge Laying

With the Duckworth Trust at Droitwich Leisure Centre.

 

DECEMBER

Saturday 5 th – Tree O’Clock – Arrive by 10:30am

Help set a new record for the most trees planted in one hour on multiple sites!

All across the country people will be digging in to try to plant one million trees in one hour. The Droitwich Canals Partnership aims to plant 1,000!

The event will be held along the Droitwich Junction Canal to create wooded areas and hedgerows along the new canal.
