Liz is a well known local campaigner. She has represented the villages north of Pershore for 24 years on the county council and gained a huge knowledge of the area and its people.
Liz was the leader of the county council from 1993-8, a lively period of new initiatives including nursery education, achieved in a climate of harsh government-imposed budget cuts. She played a key role designing the new Worcestershire County Council to meet the demands of modern services - the foundation of the Excellent status it has now achieved. Liz is now camapaigning for action to improve roads and footways - and to get the Keytec link road built, taking heavy traffic out of the area.
