Tom Bean is a retired farmer living in Ullington. He is married to Jean, a nursing sister, and they have 4 grown up children.  He has served as Worcestershire County Councillor since 1997.  He has a particular interest in education serving as a governor of Blackminster Middle School and Evesham High School.  He is also a member of the Hereford & Worcester Combined Fire Authority, the Cross Boundaries Issues Group (dealing with roads and cross county planning problems), the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Vale Volunteer Centre Committee and the Wychavon Health Scrutiny Team.
